Pollex Guides and Walkthroughs Hub

Pollex is still an upcoming Steam horror game, but the store page already tells you the loop: you go underground, you settle a debt with your thumbs, and you bet fingers instead of chips. This hub is the map of every practical article on the wiki. Start here if you do not know whether to wishlist, how the ring works, or what “the house always takes a cut” actually implies.

Who these guides are for

You do not need a completed campaign. You need the questions players type before a Q4 2026 horror launch:

  • How do I play Pollex?
  • How do I win a thumb war when the opponent does not play clean?
  • How do I protect the fingers I still have?
  • Is the game even something I should run on my PC?

We answer those without pretending a walkthrough of unreleased maps exists. When Kooky Studios ships the client, these pages will gain room names, key items, and boss tells. Until then they stay tied to the published pitch, the mature-content warning, and the system requirements.

Reading order

  1. Getting started — debt, pit, match loop, what to do before install day.
  2. Controls — what first-person horror on PC usually demands, plus what Pollex has actually confirmed.
  3. How to win — grip, pin, tells, and why rushing a pin is how you lose a digit.
  4. How to survive — stake discipline, when to walk, and how losses mark you.
  5. Review — a pre-release reading of the Steam page, not a scored campaign review.
  6. The apartment — official bedroom and bathroom stills, and what they imply before the ring.
  7. Content warning — gore, debt, and who should skip.

After those, branch into the tier list for stake planning, opponents for who you may face, and the house for who profits when you lose.

What we will not write yet

We will not publish a fake dungeon list, a loot table of severed trophies, or a numbered ending guide. The developer says the deeper you go, the stranger the pit becomes, and that the people running it have their own games. That is a spoiler fence, not an invitation to invent names. If a future patch adds a named fighter, it will land on players with a source.

We also will not embed a trailer we cannot verify. If Kooky Studios posts a YouTube ID, it will sit in the middle of the matching guide, one video per page.

How the loop connects

The Steam copy is unusually specific for a wishlist page. Grip, pin, win. Bet your own fingers. Read your opponent, learn their tells, exploit their weaknesses. Pay off your debt or lose everything trying. Every guide on this hub is a different face of that paragraph.

Tone and content warning

Pollex describes graphic body horror: finger loss is a core mechanic shown with visceral animation. Themes include debt, coercion, and survival under duress. These guides discuss that plainly because you cannot plan stakes if you pretend the cost is cosmetic. If that subject is not for you, the content warning is the stop sign.

Keep this hub honest

Cross-page facts: upcoming, Q4 2026, Steam, single-player, single-player only. If a guide ever implies you can invite a friend into the ring, it is wrong. If a guide ever lists live codes, send the reader to the codes hub instead of duplicating a table that will rot.

Use the official links page when you need the Steam URL rather than a recap. Use tools when you need checklists rather than lore.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which Pollex guide should I read first?

Start with Getting Started, then Controls and How to Win. Save the review for after you know the loop.

Is there a full story walkthrough?

Not yet. The game is not out. We will expand Getting Started and How to Survive as rooms and rules are public.

Do these guides assume a second player?

No. Pollex is listed as single-player. You face the pit, not a couch partner.

Where are codes and system specs?

Codes live on the codes hub. Specs live under Tools. Guides stay focused on play.
