Pollex Tools
Checklists, not cheats. Get the Unreal Engine 5 client ready before you bet a finger.
This hub is the practical desk for Pollex. It does not host scripts, aimbots, or finger unlockers. Those would be nonsense for an unreleased single-player Steam horror game and a good way to lose the Steam account you need for Q4 2026. The tools that matter are can my PC run this and how do I keep a pin from hitching.
- System requirements — the official floor, explained in plain language.
- Performance — UE5 settings to try on day one.
- Controller support — full controller support, gamepad preferred, DualShock USB.
For play, go back to guides. For stakes, go to the tier list. For the store, go to wishlist and official links.
Why a tools section exists before launch
The Steam minimums are already specific: Windows 10, Core i7-class CPU, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1070, DirectX 12, 4 GB storage. That is enough to make a buy/no-buy decision. A GTX 1050 laptop is not “probably fine.” A 8 GB RAM machine is not “close enough.” We would rather you read a hard floor now than hitch in a pin later.
Steam Cloud and Achievements are listed. Cloud is a tool: it should keep graphics and binds if the developer wires it. Achievements are not a tool; they are a trophy case. Family Sharing is a Valve tool, not a second-player mode.
What we will add after launch
- A settings screenshot with real slider names.
- A short “if you stutter here, turn this off” list tied to pit areas.
- Notes if DLSS, FSR, or Unreal’s TSR ship.
- A reminder to re-verify controls after a crash.
We will not add a damage calculator. Fingers are not a DPS sheet. We will not add a map editor. We will not add a code generator.
Safety
Do not download a “Pollex optimiser.exe” from a YouTube description. Do not run a console command pack from a random forum. The only executable you want is the one Steam writes after purchase. If a page on this wiki ever contradicts that, the updates hub wins.

The listing says 16 GB minimum. Plan on 16 GB.
